CNC Metal Cutting with Oxy Hydrogen Gas Cutting System

 Okay Energy hho hydrogen generator is a low cost, high quality, clean oxy hydrogen gas cutting system.For CNC sheet metal cutting,the gas generator can be alternative gas to replace LPG, Acetylene or LNG.The oxy hydrogen gas cutting system is a hydrogen-oxygen full separation method and therefore no explosion, or safe. 2.Reduction cutting cost
Compared with ordinary gas cutting systems,hydrogen gas cutting system also uses high-pressure oxygen gas, but the consumption is very low.In addition, no propane (acetylene) gas is used for preheating flame so that the cost of gas is low. Because of high cutting speed, the cost of unit cut length can be reduced.
Table 2 shows the reaction formula for preheating flame with hydrogen gas cutting and acetylene and propane gas cutting. With hydrogen gas cutting, the oxygen consumption for preheating is reduced to 1/5 or less, and the total oxygen consumption including cutting operation is reduced by approximately 20%. Thus the cost of gas can be reduced.

Table 3 shows the comparison of the total cost for cutting operation between hydrogen gas cutting and LP gas cutting, based on actual result.Hydrogen gas cutting can reduce approximately 15% of running cost for cutting operation compared with LP gas cutting.

3.Low heat input and high quality accuracy cutting
Steel plate when heated for the same time by both conventional and Hydrogen fuelled flames shows the following heat distribution in the plate. The high combustion speed of the Hydrogen flame reduces the flame area and concentrates the thermal energy. This allows the high pressure oxygen passage to heat only the immediate area being cut, preventing excessive heat transfer to the surrounding area. This reduces cooling time and distortion caused by excessive heat stress.
