Okay Energy: Driving Innovation in Transformer Welding with Oxyhydrogen Generator Technology
2025-11-05
Over 19 Years of Expertise in Clean Flame Solutions for the Power Equipment Industry

For over 19 years, Okay Energy, the best China Oxy hydrogen generator supplier, based in Changsha, China, has been dedicated to the research and development of oxyhydrogen gas generators, providing a cleaner and more efficient flame solution for various brazing, welding, and heating applications. Okay Energy’s HHO (hydrogen + oxygen) generators are widely adopted across industries, particularly in transformer manufacturing, where precision and cleanliness are paramount.

In recent years, transformer producers have faced growing pressure to modernize their welding processes. Traditional gas welding methods, such as acetylene, propane, and LPG, not only have safety and environmental concerns, but also struggle to meet the increasing demands for higher weld quality, lower emissions, and cost-efficiency. Okay Energy’s
oxhydrogen generators offer a compelling alternative.

Water Becomes HHO Gas Flame, Cleaner Flame, Better Welds

Okay Energy’s technology specializes in the electrolysis of water, which produces a 2:1 mixture of hydrogen and oxygen gas, it’s also called Brown’s gas or HHO gas, that is ignited to produce a clean-burning flame. The flame reaches temperatures of up to 3000°C. It is ideal for working with copper, aluminum, and other conductive metals used in transformer coils and busbar connections.

Unlike fossil-fuel-based flames, the oxyhydrogen flame leaves no carbon or chemical residue, ensuring cleaner joints and improved conductivity. This is especially beneficial in transformer production, where insulation performance must remain uncompromised.

Applications in Transformer Manufacturing

Okay Energy Oxygen Hydrogen Generator are widely used in:
  • Brazing copper and aluminum windings
  • Welding transformer terminals and lead wires
  • Soldering coil ends and magnetic core joints
  • Busbar and connector welding
These applications are critical in the production of distribution transformers, power transformers, and electrical reactors, where even minor welding defects can lead to performance loss or failure.

Oxy-hydrogen Gas Welding Advantages Over Traditional Gas Welding

Feature Traditional Gas Welding Oxy-hydrogen Gas Welding
Fuel Acetylene /LPG Water + electricity
Flame type Radiating Straight
Residue Carbon soot Clean, zero-carbon
Safety High pressure gas cylinders On-demand production, no storage
Operation cost High (gas refills, logistics) Low (water + power only)

Proven Technology, Global Reach

With CE, ISO9001, and FCC certifications, Okay Energy’s
HHO generators are trusted by customers in over 60 countries, including Southeast Asia, Europe, and America. We offers a range of models, such as the OH3000, OH5500, OH7500, OH10000, OH15000 and OH20000. It tailored to various industrial needs and production capacities.
